Did ya know that some recreational trails in Colorado require a special paid permit that must be displayed while using the trail? I did not, but Stay the Trail was kind enough to post a printable list of the full size trails in Colorado that require this permit.
What’s a full size trail? According to Stay the Trail, “Although these trails allow for full width vehicles, they differ from most BLM and U.S. Forest Service roads as they are designed for recreational, motorized use rather than simply for transportation.”
